Drumset Workshop
This drumset workshop features a weekend of instruction by two professional drummers! Starting on Friday, March 19, participants will attend classes in a wide variety of styles, technique, soloing, reading drumset music, how to pick your drumset/cymbals, and more!
Are you a beginner? Been playing for a while? Have no fear- we offer each class at different ability levels to accommodate individual needs!
Students will check in on Friday, March 19 between 5-6:30pm. Check out will take place after the final performance on March 21 at 4:00pm. Specific details of the weekend will be sent out within 2 weeks of the Workshop.

We are excited to present "The Fusion Thing," a professional jazz-rock fusion band out of the Twin Cities. Their leader, Jason Price, is the facilitator for this workshop, and the group will perform on Saturday night.
Who should consider attending
Any students in grades 6-12 with at least 6 months of drum set experience.
What to bring
Participants should bring their own drumsets and a desire to learn!
Accommodations
Room and board are included in the price of the workshop. Participants will stay in our residential halls. Please bring your own bedding and towels. The cost of the workshop is $275.00. Students will be supervised by a professional counseling staff. A commuter option is available; please contact the Arts Center for more information.
