Dear Hero of the Shell Lake Arts Center,

Our 50th year is coming to an end, but our story doesn’t end there.  Oh no, 50 years and we want more!  More music, more art, more youth coming through our doors saying, “This is the best place in the world.”  You can be the hero of our story.  Seize this moment and give to the Shell Lake Arts Center.

Please meet Isaiah from Belle Plain, MN.  This was his first year at camp.

“This place is really cool.  There’s a music madness I wanna be apart of!  I get to connect with other drummers and drum for 8 hours a day.  That’s madness right!  The teachers here are out of this world with their skills and knowledge.  I love them because they are great people.  They really know how to teach all kids and they help with whatever you need help with, no matter what.  I feel so supported here.  I feel noticed--I’m not alone.

My father was also a drummer, my hero!  He died before I could drum with him.  When I’m at camp here, I feel like he is with me, drumming beside me.”

Make this moment the moment that changes everything. Be a HERO.  Donate Now!

There is so much more we need in this world. More compassion, inspiration, understanding, honor, beauty, love, and, yes, more heroes.  Do it for the love of music; do it for the chance to make a difference in a young artist’s life, or just do it to be a HERO.

Our end-of-year fundraising goal is $27,000.  Be a part of this epic journey into the next 50 years.

Seize the day!
